How we prepare our travel information
Our guides separate destination information from the details of a bookable excursion. We use official Dominican Republic tourism resources for destination context and link to them where relevant. Routes, access, weather and operating arrangements can change, so a guide is a starting point for planning.
We publish prices, inclusions and operating details only when confirmed. Wildlife sightings are never promised. If you find outdated information, email the page address and correction to info@cana.tours so we can review it.
Plan your visit with us
What to send with your inquiry
Tell us your preferred tour, travel date, number of adults and children, and where you are staying. Include children's ages and any mobility or dietary needs so we can discuss a suitable itinerary. For a cruise visit, include the ship name, arrival time and all-aboard time.
Confirm before you travel
A message or reservation request starts an inquiry; it does not confirm a booking. Ask for written confirmation of availability, the total price and currency, inclusions, cancellation terms, and the exact meeting point. Confirm whether pickup, park entry, food and equipment are included in your chosen option.
Choose a realistic day
For boat trips, ask about sea conditions and the alternative if sailing is unsuitable. For cruise excursions, plan around your ship's all-aboard time and agree a return buffer. Tell us if you are staying outside the Samaná peninsula, as longer transfers need separate planning.
